One has to wonder if in 10 years there’ll be a story about the players who only made the majors by virtue of the 2020-? pandemic (The Cup of COVID Guys?) though I don’t think we’ll call 2020-? MLB era the “tall men vs. the fat men at the company picnic” as they did in WW2.
Sorry, but deep down you should know this is true, just as you should know that many such cups in “normal times” are purely a matter of luck.
