On the minor-league side, things are are still quiet. Sorry, but Boomer will still snore through 4A signings like Mac Williams, as he should.
The news that another Dominican ballplayer dying in a motor vehicle accident is sad—regardless of whether or not he was a National—but hardly a surprise. If you haven’t already seen it, I highly recommend looking for HBO’s Real Sports story from 2017.
Finally, the The F-Nats claim that the new ballpark is on schedule. Single-game tickets remain unavailable for purchase. Officials say they will be put on sale in March.
