Fresno rallied for one in the 2nd and then things fell part for an 11-1 loss to fall into last place in the PCL Pacific Northern division. Wil Crowe got the start and let in the first six runs (three earned) on seven hits (one HR) and four walks while striking out three. James Bourque was the sole Grizzlies pitcher to not give up a run. Brandon Snyder hit his 28th HR to account for the lone Fresno run while Chuck Taylor drew both walks for the Grizzlies.
Richmond 1 Harrisburg 0 (10 inn.)
• M. Sanchez 7IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 4K
• Barrett (L, 0-2) ⅓ IP, 1H, 1R, 0ER, 0BB, 0K
• Sagdal 1-3, BB
• Barrera 1-3, BB
• 0-for-10 RISP, 9 LOB
Twice the Sens got a runner to third base – once with two out (5th), and once with nobody out (10th). They did not score either runner. The Flying Squirrels achieved the feat four times and cashed in on the last chance in the bottom of the 10th for a 1-0 walkoff win. The loss went to Aaron Barrett on a sacrifice, unintentional walk, and a single. Mario Sanchez got the start and one-hit Richmond for seven innings for the no-decision. In between were Greg Holland and Jordan Mills, who both had a runner reach third with less than two out. Both got that runner out with a ground ball hit to 3B Ian Sagdal, who started a 5-2-6 rundown in the 8th and assisted on a 5-2 putout in the 9th. Sagdal, Tres Barrera, and Michael Taylor each singled while Luis Garcia doubled to comprise the Harrisburg hit column.
Potomac 4 Winston-Salem 3
• Teel 7IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, BB, 4K, 2WP
• Bartow (BS, 2; W, 2-2) 1⅓ IP, 3H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• Dunlap 3-4, 2B, HR, 2RBI
• Freeman 2-4, R, 2B, RBI
Cole Freeman was denied the go-ahead RBI on his single in the 9th, but took second on the throw home that got Gilbert Lara at the plate. Instead, Freeman would have to settle for scoring the go-ahead run as Aldrem Corredor delivered in the next AB for a Potomac 4-3 lead. After two quick outs, Frankie Bartow, who gave up a hit to the first batter he faced to lose a 3-2 lead in the 8th, nearly repeated the feat in the 9th. Bartow got the benefit of the Dash deciding it worth trying to score from 1st on a single to center. Freeman, in his 32nd game as a CF, bobbled the ball but relayed it to Osvaldo Abreu, who gunned down the runner at the plate to end the game. Alex Dunlap homered, doubled, singled, and drove in two to lead the P-Nats offense. Carson Teel matched his season high with 7IP and let in the first two runs on six hits and a walk while setting down four on strikes for the no-decision.

An error with two outs set up Cole Daily (1-4, RBI) to double in one and Phil Caulfield (2-4, 3RBI) to single in two. Alex Troop picked up the win in relief as he stranded two while getting the last out of the 6th and tossed three scoreless innings. Tomas Alastre started and gave up the first West Virginia run on a homer and four hits total over five and 2/3rds innings. He walked two and fanned seven.
