El Paso homered off Ben Brayer three times for four runs en route to an 11-1 demolition of Fresno. Braymer gave up six runs total on seven hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out three while taking his first AAA loss. Yadiel Hernandez (two singles, walk, double) and Matt Reynolds (single, three walks) both reached base four times and scored just one run as Brandon Snyder followed Hernandez’s two-bagger in the 8th to break up the shutout.

The Senators scored three in the first and three times in the next the next four “ups” as they cruised to a 10-2 win over the Flying Squirrels. Mario Sanchez allowed both Richmond runs on solo HRs and seven hits total over five and a 1/3rd innings. He walked one and struck out five while notching his sixth AA win. Ian Sagdal drove in five with a double, homer, and a sac fly while Adrián Snches singled twice, stole two bases, and scored three times to lead the Harrisburg offense.

Potomac shut out Wilmington for seven innings… just not in a row as the Blue Rocks took the opener, 9-4. Kyle Johnston gave up all five of his runs in the 3rd and six hits over five innings to lose for the eighth time in 16 starts. He walked four and struck out five. Luis Reyes fell part in the 8th after two perfect innings in the 6th and 7th for the final four runs. Omar Meregildo doubled twice while Cole Freeman singled twice to pace the P-Nats attack of eight hits and one walk.

The Suns answered a five-run 5th with three to tie it at 6-6 but couldn’t answer the ‘Hoppers rallies in the 6th or 9th to fall, 9-7. Joan Adon came of the I.L. but forgot to bring his command as he walked five and hit a batter while giving up six runs on five hits over four and 2/3rds. The loss went to O.T. Turner with two runs let in on two hits and three walks over an inning and a 1/3rd. Drew Mendoza doubled twice and drove in two while making his MiLB debut while Jacob Rhinesmith lauched his fourth HR to pace the Hagerstown offense.

The bullpen gave up four in the 8th to blow a 4-3 lead, but *SURPRISE* it was West Virginia’s as Auburn’s last man on the mound gave up just one run in a 7-5 win. Rafael Gomez got the start but was savaged for four runs on four hits (two HRs) over four and a 1/3rd innings. Alfonso Hernandez stranded a runner while getting out of the 5th and added two more goose eggs. Fausto Segura gave up a HR in the 9th after a scoreless 8th to pick up the win. Landerson Peña led the Doubleday hit column with three singles while Adalberto Carrillo and Eric Senior both homered to highlight Auburn’s 12-hit parade.
