The Grizzlies went over .500 for the first time in two weeks with a 5-4 triumph over the Dodgers, their third straight. Kevin McGowan gave up all four Oklahoma City runs on four hits, including two homers, over five and a 1/3rd innings. He walked three and struck out two. In the 9th, Scott Copeland and Dakota Bacus loaded the bases with a pair of walks sandwiched around a single before Bacus got the whiff to end the game for his second save, Copeland’s fourth win. Wilmer Difo reached base three times and stole three bases, including second base in the 9th to take away a double-play opportunity (on the ground at least) and scored the go-ahead run following Carter Kieboom’s game-tying RBI single when Yadiel Hernandez beat out a would-be 4-6-3 DP.

Harrisburg dropped the rubber game of the series for a 5-4 loss in 10 innings. Mario Sanchez finally recovered from his AAA demotion with six innings of one-run ball on two hit and two walks with five whiffs and left with a 4-1 lead. Jordan Mills gave one run back with a homer in the 7th while Aaron Barrett gave up the other two on a two-out, two-run HR in the 9th for his third blown save in 14 chances. Despite the gift of a wild pitch to shove Spencer Kieboom from second to third with nobody out in the top of the 10th, the Sens popped out and struck out twice. Ronald Peña took the loss on a two-out single in the bottom of the 10th. Rhett Wiseman had back-to-back games with multiple hits for the first time since April with a single and a double and drove in two while Kieboom doubled, walked, and scored a run to lead the Harrisburg attack.
Lynchburg vs. Potomac – CNCLD
The series finale between the P-Nats and the Hillcats was rained out. Because the two teams do not meet again in the first half, the game will not be made up.

Hagerstown led from start to finish for a 5-1 win that split the four-game series. Ryan Tapani pitched a career-high five innings, allowing neither a run nor a walk while striking out four. He gave up five hits while picking up his third win. Ryan Williamson lost the shutout with a run in the 7th but pitched three innings in his second hold. The Suns 1-2-3 batters each went 2-for-4 and combined for four runs scored, four RBI, and two walks drawn. All-Star representative Gilbert Lara connected for his eighth HR.
