Alas, in the 10th, Carter Kieboom’s throw bounced off Ryan Howard during a rundown between third and home to enable the 24-y.o. SS to score the game-winning run for a 7-6 Sacramento win over Fresno. Jordan Mills took the loss while Vidal Nuño3 and Derek Self each blew their first save. Mario Sanchez fared much better than his AAA debut, but still labored through five innings on 94 pitches, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits (two HR) and three walks. He struck out four. Taylor Gushue singled twice and drove in a run while Jacob Wilson smacked his 12th HR while going 2-for-5 with two RBI to lead the Grizzlies attack.
