Las Vegas left little doubt as to the outcome of this one as the Aviators scored six in the 1st and in each of the first five innings for an 11-2 smackdown. Mario Sanchez was strafed for eight runs on eight hits and a walk over two innings to lose his AAA debut. Henderson Alvarez3 lowered his ERA with four innings of three-run mop-up duty before Dakota Bacus and Bengie Gonzalez stopped the bender with a scoreless inning apiece. Jacob Wilson doubled, tripled, and scored a run while Yadiel Hernandez reached base twice to lead the Grizzlies’ counterstrike. After Angel Guillen went two scoreless innings, Aaron Fletcher put up a goose egg in the 9th but gave up one-out RBI singles in both the 10th and 11th innings for his second loss. Jacob Rhinesmith doubled while Israel Pineda and Trey Vickers both singled to account for all three (3) Hagerstown hits.
