Harrisburg scored twice in the 1st and never trailed as they took Game 2 by a 7-3 tally. Ben Braymer got the “W” in his AA debut, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. Joan Baez struck out six in three innings to get the hold while Aaron Barrett set the side down in order in the 9th. Austin Davidson, Luis Garcia, and Tress Barrera each has three hits as the Senators pounded out 14 total on the night, including five doubles and a HR by Adrián Sanchez.

The Monstars Mudcats came to town and handily swept the Tune Squad P-Nats, 7-2 and 6-0. In the opener, Malvin Peña was chased after two and 2/3rds as he gave up all five runs in the 3rd. Carlos Acevedo somehow stranded a runner but reverted to form by giving up two runs on three hits, including a HR. Meanwhile, the P-Nats were held to just two doubles and two singles.
In the nightcap, Luis Reyes picked up where he left off in the Arizona Fall League—where he was dead last in ERA, second-to-last in WHIP—and was stung for six runs on nine hits over four and a 1/3rd, though he struck out six while walking two. The bats were just as dormant, with two doubles, one single, and one walk.

Tomas Alastre’s struggles with the Sally League continued, as he was lit up for five runs on six hits over four-plus innings to lift his career ERA at the level to 5.50 (25 GS, 126IP) in a 6-3 Hagerstown loss. Chandler Day let in two of those runs with some “help” from the second of two Gilbert Lara errors, but was otherwise effective over three scoreless innings. The Suns scratched to within two on Jose Sanchez’s two-run double with no outs in the 7th but fanned six times over the next ten batters, with Pablo O’Connor’s two-out single in the 8th interrupting the streak of batters retired.
