Austin Adams didn’t issue a walk but did give up three hits and three runs in the 10th to take the loss. The implosion wasted a quality start by Fresno starter Paolo Espino (6IP, 2R) and two scoreless innings of relief from Derek Self, who struck out four while earning his first hold. Yadiel Hernandez singled twice, homered twice, scored thrice, and drove in three while Andrew Stevenson, Jake Noll, and Brandon Snyder each went 2-for-5 to account for 11 of the 13 Grizzlies hits.

Nick Raquet failed to notch a quality start for the fifth time in 2019, and the 16th time in 17 starts at High-A as Winston-Salem handed him his fourth loss. He was charged with eight runs on ten hits, including three homers, and a walk over five frames while striking out four. K.J. Harrison singled twice and doubled once while Jakson Reetz and Telmito Agustin both went 2-for-4 with an RBI to power the Potomac counterstrike. Roster move: RHP Jhon Romero assigned from XST.
