The Aviators dropped three in the 1st and ran wild as they stole five bases without being caught once in a 6-2 win, the third straight loss for the Grizzlies. Brady Dragmire took the loss as he was strafed for 10 hits and all six Las Vegas runs over four innings while issuing two walks and striking out one (1). Jimmy Cordero and Vidal Nuño3 both threw two scoreless innings of relief. Yadiel Hernandez homered while Taylor Sughue doubled twice and Andrew Stevenson singled twice to account for five of the seven Fresno hits.

Harrisburg went medieval on Bowie’s [buttocks] with an eight-run 3rd in a 10-4 win. Drew Ward smacked another grand slam plus while Rhett Wiseman and Zach Collier both launched two-run shots in the barrage. Tyler Mapes picked up the win on five innings of three-run ball on six hits and a walk while striking out seven. Jacob Condra-Bogan tossed two scoreless while Joan Baez let in an unearned run in the 8th before putting up a goose egg in the 9th to finish. Ward also doubled and singled to finish at 3-for-5 with two runs scored to lead the Sens’ 13-hit parade.

Seven of twelve P-Nats position players are riding the Interstate after the Dash shut them out on two hits, 4-0. It’s the fourth time Potomac has been shut out in 10 games this season. Nick Raquet gave up the first three Winston-Salem runs on eight hits over eight hits over five innings while Carlos Acevedo gave up the last over the last three frames. Anderson Franco broke up the no-hit bid to lead off the 3rd while Omar Meregildo took away the one-hitter to lead off the 6th. Osvald Abreu and Aldrem Corredor also drew walks to round out the tally of four P-Nats baserunners.

Francys Peguero was tagged with all five Asheville runs, including three in the 5th, as Hagerstown dropped the opener, 5-1. Peguero gave up seven hits (one HR), walked none, and sruck out six over five innings. Aside from Gilbert Lara’s 3rd HR, the Suns bats were held in check – just three hits and one walk over seven innings.

The Suns took advantage of six free passes issued in the 1st to score four times and held on for 5-4 win to split the doubleheader. Leif Strom wasn’t much less ineffective as he walked four over two inning and let in two runs on three hits and wile fanning two. Likewise for Jackson Stoeckinger, who walked three and gave up two runs (one earned) on a single and a homer over three innings but was credited with the win. Jhonatan German walked none over the last two and earned his second save. Gage Canning and Jamori Blash both singled while Pablo O’Connor doubled to account for the three Hagerstown hits.
