With single runs in the 1st, 5th, and 8th, the Grizzlies clipped the Aviators, 3-1 in the series opener. Henderson Alvarez3 gave up the Las Vegas tally on seven hits and two walks over four-plus innings before the trio of Dakota Bacus (2IP, W), Vidal Nuñno (2IP, H), and Jimmy Cordero (1IP, SV) grounded the Aviators for the last five frames. Jacob Wilson drilled his 8th HR and drove in another with a sac fly while Yadiel Hernandez singled twice and doubled once to lead the Fresno offense. Roster move: RHP Austin Adams recalled to Washington.

A six-run 6th broke a 4-4 tie as the Hagerstown blasted Kannapolis, 13-4. Tomas Alastre got the Jack Morris win with all four Intimidator runs allowed on seven hits, including two homers, while hitting a batter. He walked none and struck out six. Chandler Day added three scoreless innings before Jared Brasher and Aaron Fletcher combined to close out the 9th. KJ Harrison reached base six times with a double, two walks, and three singles while Justin Connell singled, doubled, homered; they both drove in three. The Suns pounded out 17 hits total.
