Syracuse – ALL-STAR BREAK
Tonight is the AAA All-Star game in Columbus and the lone Syracuse Chief, Jacob Wilson, may make an appearance (if there’s a blowout or they need a pinch-hitter). Roster moves: RHP Jefry Rodriguez optioned from Washington; RHPs Wander Suero, Austin Voth recalled to Washington.

Harrisburg – ALL-STAR BREAK
Likewise, the Eastern League’s best players (and Tim Tebow) will face off tonight in Trenton. Five Harrisburg Senators were named to the team, and four will likely be on hand: Taylor Gushue, Dan Gamaches, Austen Williams, and Derek Self (Kyle McGowin has since been promoted to Syracuse).

Potomac 7 Lynchburg 4
• Strasburg 3⅓ IP, 2H, R, ER, BB, 5K
• Guilbeau (W, 1-0) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 1K, WP
• Bourque (SV, 4) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• Banks 2-4, R, 2K
• Wiseman 1-3, 2R, HR, RBI, BB, 2K
• Sagdal 1-4, R, HR, 2RBI

Potomac rallied in the 9th and this time it meant something as they came back against Lynchburg for a 7-4 win and snapped a five-game losing streak. Stephen Strasburg made his annual a rehab appearance and was charged with a run on two hits and a walk over three and a 1/3rd innings. He struck out five. Taylor Guilbeau, who worked around the second of two Luis Garcia errors in the 8th, picked up his first win while James Bourque set the side down in order in the 9th for his fourth save. Rhett Wiseman and Ian Sagdal both homered while Nick Banks singled twice to lead the P-Nats attack. Roster moves: RHPs Kyle Johnston, Carlos Acevedo promoted from Hagerstown.

Hagerstown – OFF DAY
After breaking even with a 3-3 roadtrip through Eastern Maryland and West Virginia, it’s a three-game pit stop for the Suns at the Muni against the Fireflies before heading south to North Carolina for four games against the Intimidators.

Auburn – OFF DAY
Likewise, Auburn heads home for just three against the Spinners before they head to Aberdeen over the weekend.

GCL Mets 5 GCL Nationals 3
• Glover 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• R. Gomez (L, 1-2) 2⅓ IP, 9H, 5R, 5ER, 0BB, 4K, HR
• Segura 3IP, 1H, 0R, BB, 2K
• Connell 1-3, BB, 2SB
• Senior 1-1

For those of you just checking in on the rehabs, Koda Glover struck out two in his second one-inning appearance; Victor Robles went 1-for-3 with a run scored; Alejandro De Aza went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Rafael Gomez failed to hold a 3-1 lead and instead was strafed for nine hits over two and 1/3rd innings to pick up the loss. Among the regulars, Justin Connell got on base twice with a single and a walk and stole two bases. And if I didn’t bury this any deeper, the G-Nats lost to the G-Mets, 5-3.
