• Adams 1⅔ IP, 2H, 2R, 2ER, BB, 5K
• Marmolejos 0-4, 2K
Roster moves: C Matt Reistetter, RHP David Goforth placed on 7-Day DL; OF Alejandro De Aza activated from 7-Day DL.

New Hampshire 2 Harrisburg 0
• McGowin (L, 4-3) 6IP, 4H, 2R, 2ER, 3BB, 9K, HR, WP
• Bourque 2IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 0K
• Noll 2-3, E(6)
• Read 1-4, E(2)
• 0-0 RISP

Both teams had four hits, but New Hampshire hit a homer and drew three walks whereas Harrisburg did neither in a 2-0 shutout. Kyle McGowin gave up both runs and struck out nine but lost for the third time. James Bourque was prefect in the 7th and 8th. All four Harrisburg hits were singles, with Jake Noll collecting two, Raudy Read and Alec Keller each hitting one.

Potomac 7 Salem 3
• Crowe (W, 10-0) 5IP, 4H, 3R, 3ER, BB, 3K, HR, WP, HBP
• DeRosier 2IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• Agustin 3-4, BB, RBI
• Sundberg 2-3, 2R, 2B, 2BB, 2RBI
• Barrera 2-4, 2R, BB

The P-Nats bats once again provided Wil Crowe with plenty of runs to work with in a 7-3 win over the Red Sox. Crowe didn’t allow Salem to score in three of five innings pitched and gave up three runs on four hits (one HR) while walking one and fanning three to get credit for a 10th win. Matt DeRosier threw two scoreless innings, Jorge Pantoja and Taylor Guilbeau one apiece to close out the game. Telmito Agustin and Jack Sundberg both reached base four times to lead Potomac’s 12-hit, seven-walk offense.

Hagerstown vs. Lakewood – PPD

Rain struck Hagerstown yet again, postponing last night’s contest to a doubleheader this afternoon. Roster moves: SS Yasel Antuna placed on the 7-Day DL.

Auburn vs. State College – PPD
Likewise with rain in Pennsylvania and the Doubledays, but the makeup game will be on August 2nd.

GCL Cardinals 15 GCL Nationals 6
• N. Gomez (L, 0-1) 3IP, 9H, 7R, 7ER, 0BB, 5K, 0HR
• Sosa 3-4, R, 2B
• Senior 2-4, R, 2B, RBI
• Pogue 2-4, R, HR, RBI
• W. Perez 2-4, R, 3PB(7)

The G-Nats pitchers had three scoreless innings – the 2nd, 4th, and 7th – and gave up 21 hits in a 15-6 demolition by the G-Cards. Niomar Gomez took the loss with seven runs charged on nine hits but no homers and no walks and still struck out five. Justin Connell was the (root) beer man (he’s 19) in the G-Nats 14-hit parade led by Ronaldy Sosa with two singles and a double. Daniel Johnson, Colton Pogue, and Leandro Emiliani each homered.

DSL Update
After starting out strong with four wins, the D-Nats lost three straight to finish the week and fall further behind in the DSL South. Starting pitching continues to dominate with two starters (Pedro Gonzalez, Carlos Romero) sporting ERAs under 2.00 and WHIPs under 1.00. Braian Ferandnez and Geraldi Diaz are still leading the offense, with 17-y.o. Jorge Hurtado emerging as batter to watch with a 11-for-30 mark over his last 10 games and an .825 OPS overall.
