Harrisburg got three HRs and a quality start and survived a late comeback bid to beat Bowie, 8-5. Logan Darnell gave up two runs on five hits (one HR) and a walk while setting down one (1) on strikes to earn his fourth save. Derek Self was the lone reliever who did not give up a run, pitching a 1-2-3 seventh for the hold. Jake Noll, Taylor Gushue, and Dan Gamache combined for nine hits and seven RBI, each scoring a run on a solo HR to lead the 14-hit parade.

The P-Nats got five in the bottom of the 9th but needed six as they dropped their 10th game of the second half, 10-9 to the Red Sox. Matthew Crownover got knocked from the box—and knocked around, period—as Salem jumped on the 54 (of 90) pitches thrown for strikes for ten hits, two homers, and seven runs over four and a 1/3rd innings. It was his eighth loss in 16 starts. Ian Sagdal, Rhett Wiseman, and Aldrem Corredor each had three hits, scored a run, and combined for four RBI to pace the Potomac offense.

Hagerstown was no-hit for nine innings but broke up the no-hitter and the shutout on the first two pitches in the top of the 10th and held on in the bottom of the 10th for 1-0 win over Delmarva. Tomas Alastre put up the first half-dozen donuts on the scoreboard with just one hit and two walks allowed and six whiffs. Carlos Acevedo closed out the game with four scoreless, giving up a hit, walking two, hitting a batter, and fanning seven. Alex Dunlap dropped down a bunt to push over the free runner while Armond Upshaw and Gage Canning each drew a walk to comprise the Suns offense.

The Doubledays were shut out on five hits, 8-0 in a rain-shortened contest. Yonathan Ramirez allowed the first two Spikes runs on seven hits and three walks over six innings but lost for the third time. He struck out five. The Auburn ‘pen was lit up for six runs on four hits to put this one out of reach. Israel Pineda singled and doubled and was the only Doubleday hitter to reach base twice. Roster moves: OF Telmito Agustin reassigned from Potomac; OF Pablo O’Connor reassigned from the GCL.

The G-Nats led 2-0 early and tied at 3-3 after 7 before the G-Mets rallied for three in the 8th and one in the 9th to put this one away, 7-3. Leif Strom went the first three and a 1/3rd innings and gave up two runs on five hits and two walks. The loss went to Fausto Seguro, as he let in three on four hits and a walk over two innings. The G-Nats drew six walks and collected eight hits, but were just 1-for-6 with RISP and left on nine runners. Roster move: RHP Jake Irvin (4th Rd., Oklahoma) assigned from Washington.
