The Senators were opening up a can of whoop-ass when the skies did likewise with rain and suspended the game. They’ll resume it tonight at 5:05 and play the full nine, then a seven-inning game afterward for a completion doubleheader. Roster moves: RHP Kyle McGowin reassigned from Potomac, C Matt Reistetter reassigned from Syracuse.

Potomac – OFF DAY
After a 5-1 road trip, Potomac now leads the C.L. North by 2½ games as Salem comes to town looking to break an eight-game losing streak that’s dropped them five games off the pace. Meanwhile, Carter Kieboom has kept the “Player of the Week” honors in Woodbridge for a second straight week with a 15-for-27 surge last week that’s raised his line to .268/.381/.443 for the season after a .654 OPS in April.

Hagerstown vs. Charleston – PPD
The rain that suspended the Sens postponed the Suns, forcing a getaway day doubleheader this morning in Hagerstown.
