Drew Ward’s two-out solo HR tied it in the 9th but Kelvin Rodriguez was thrown out at home in the top of the 10th while the feared bunt-walk-sacrifice fly sequence took down Harrisburg in the 10th for a 3-2 loss. Jaron Long started and allowed two unearned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six for the no-decision. The loss went to Roman Mendez after setting down the side in order in the 9th. Steven Fuentes was knocked around for the final four runs over three innings on five hits. Kameron Esthay tripled, singled, and scored a run to lead the Suns hit column. Jack Sundberg struck five times in five at-bats; the rest of the lineup wasn’t much better as they accounted for nine more whiffs.
