It wasn’t exactly a Thunder storm, but it was enough to strike down the Sens, 1-0. Jaron Long was the starter and loser, giving up the lone Trenton run on four hits and a walk over five innings. Ismael Guillon added two scoreless and Derek Self one to close out the game. Four Thunder pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout, with Yadiel Hernandez accounting for two of the four singles (Austin Davidson and Daniel Johnson had the others) and one of the four walks drawn (Dan Gamache had two, Stephen Perez had the other). Harrisburg was 0-for-2 with RISP and left on all baserunners. Potomac snapped a three-game slide with a 5-1 win over Wilmington, highlighted by a three-run 9th that put the game away. Tyler Mapes won for the third time in four starts with the Blue Rocks’ only run let in on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six. Jordan Mills added two scoreless to earn the hold while James Bourque worked around a walk in the 9th to close it out. Telmito Agustin scored twice and drove in two with a single and a homer while Ian Sagdal doubled twice and walked once and Blake Perkins connected for two singles, drew a walk, and stole his seventh base to lead the P-Nats offense.
