Promotions usually come slow in the Nationals organization, but Juan Soto made it happen before the end of April with a Nintendo-esque OPS of 1.299 with 48 total bases in just 16 games with Low-A Hagerstown. He’ll escape western Maryland join the P-Nats on their second road trip, which begins tomorrow with three against Blue Rocks in Wilmington then three more in Lynchburg before Potomac returns to Woodbridge on May 1st.

As the subhead notes, Austin Davidson was also promoted after posting a .319/.415/.478 line in 18 games in his third season at High-A while Drew Ward was activated from the DL to begin his third campaign at AA.
