Taylor Hill pitched into the 8th (and kept the ball in the yard) but left with the bases loaded and one out in the 8th. Andrew Robinson couldn’t get the K, popup, or groundball and Trenton scored twice for a 2-0 win in the finale. Victor Robles singled twice and was removed from the game for no discernible reason aside from Matt LeCroy’s whim (didn’t run hard enough from first base on a two-out ground ball to the second baseman?). Yadiel Hernandez also reached base twice with a single and a walk, but the Sens were limited to six hits total and left on nine baserunners.

The P-Nats scored twice in the 1st and three pitchers made it stand up to take the game, and the series from the Dash, 2-1. Joan Baez allowed the lone, unearned run on two hits and four walks while striking out seven for his third High-A win. Mariano Rivera III followed with two scoreless for the hold as did Jordan Mills for the save. Jake Noll’s two-run double cashed in a single by Austin Davidson and walk by Taylor Gushue; all three reached with two out in the 1st. Potomac was limited to five hits and five walks total, led by Davidson’s two singles and two walks by Gushue and Daniel Johnson. With losses by both Salem and Frederick, Potomac is now just one game out of a playoff spot, and 1½ games ahead of Wilmington. Roster moves: RHP Kyle McGowin reassigned to Harrisburg; RHP Austen Williams activated from the 7-Day DL.

Twice the game-winning run was cut down at the plate, enabling the Intimidators to edge past the Suns, 3-2 in 11 innings. Anderson Franco was gunned down in the 9th and Angelo La Bruno was forced out on a bases-loaded grounder to short in the 10th. Brigham Hill turned in a quality start of two runs on a walk and six hits while striking out seven over six innings. The loss went to Phil Morse on a sacrifice fly in the 11th. Carter Kieboom homered to account for both Hagerstown runs. The Suns remain in 3rd place, two games behind the Grasshoppers and the Crawdads and percentage points ahead of the Power.

Auburn rallied for three in the 8th to turn a 3-2 deficit into a 5-3 win. Wil Crowe tossed three scoreless innings in his fourth start for Auburn. Jared Brasher got the win in relief with a goose eggs in the 8th and 9th innings. Jake Scudder reached base four times with three singles and a walk and drove in a run while Omar Meregildo homered and walked to lead the Doubledays offense.
