• Solis (BS, 1; L, 0-1) 1⅓ IP, 2H, 3R, 3ER, BB, 0K, HR
• Fedde 1⅔ IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, K
• Stevenson 3-5, 2-3B

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 3 Syracuse 1 – GAME TWO
• Stevenson 1-3, CS (10G Hit streak)

Reading 9 Harrisburg 2
• Simms (L, 3-5) 6IP, 11H, 6R, 6ER, BB, 4K, HBP
• Read 2-4
• Hernandez 2-3, R, 2B, BB

The Fightins scored three times in the 6th to break open a 3-1 game en route to a 9-2 smackdown of the Sens. John Simms took the brunt of the beating, giving up six runs on 11 hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings. Yadiel Hernandez singled, doubled, and walked while Raudy Read went 2-for-4 to lead Harrisburg’s 10-hit parade.

Potomac 12 Myrtle Beach 5
• Silvestre (W, 7-2) 5IP, 5H, 3R, 2ER, 3BB, 5K, HR
• Schepel 2IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 4K
• Masters 3-4, BB, 2RBI
• Mejia 3-5, R, HR, 4RBI
• Sagdal 2-6, R, 2B

Potomac scored eight times in the 1st, once in the 2nd, and thrice in the 4th in a 12-5 demolition of Myrtle Beach. Hector Silvestre won for the 7th time as he pitched five innings of three-run ball on five hits and three walks. Every P-Nat batter hit safely, with David Masters and Bryan Mejia leading the charge with six hits and six RBI combined.

Hagerstown 3 Delmarva 1
• M. Mills (W, 9-2) 7IP, 4H, R, ER, BB, 5K, HBP
• Howard (SV, 1) 2IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• Johnson 2-4, R, 3B, 2RBI, SB
• Corredor 2-4, R

The Suns took their sixth straight with a 3-1 win over the Shorebirds. McKenzie Mills took his ninth “W” with the lone Delmarva run let in on four hits and a walk over seven innings. Hayden Howard worked around a pair of singles in the 8th and 9th and put up two donuts to earn his first save. Daniel Johnson and Aldrem Corredor both went 2-for-4 with a run scored, with Johnson driving in two to lead the Suns offense.

State College 7 Auburn 1
• Ramirez (L, 1-1) 3IP, 3H, 4R, 4ER, 3BB, 1K, HBP, BK
• Encarnacion 2-4, R, 2B
• Panaccione 1-4, 3B

There would be no taming of the Shew for Auburn as the State College starter dominated the Doubledays, 7-1. Yonathan Ramirez was quite the opposite as the Spikes got to him for four runs on three hits and three walks over three innings for the loss. Randy Encarcnacion doubled while Paul Panaccione tripled as the Doubledays collected 10 hits total. Roster move: 1B Jake Scudder (16th Rd. Pick, Kansas State) assigned from Washington.

GCL Nationals 2 GCL Marlins 1
• Luzardo 4IP, 4H, R, ER, 0BB, 7K, 2WP
• Jimenez (W, 1-0) 1IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 0K
• Antuna 1-3, BB
• Cramer 1-3, BB
• J. Sanchez 1-3, R, BB, RBI

Jesus Luzardo struck out seven over four innings in his professional debut while the G-Nats walked off the G-Marlins, 2-1. Luzardo gave up a run and four hits without a walk. Jose Sanchez walked, took second on defensive indifference (really? in a 1-1 game? Let’s get this scorekeeper to Woodbridge!), third on a single by Juan Pascal, and scored on an error. That made a winner out of Jose Jimenez for pitching a scoreless 9th. Sanchez, Yasel Antuna, and Jackson Cramer each went 1-for-3 with a walk to lead the G-Nats’ five-hit, six-walk offense.
Roster move: RHP Jose Morales assigned from Hagerstown for MiLB rehab.
