Syracuse fell back to .500 with a 5-0 loss to Pawtucket in the great (well, no, not really) state of Rhode Island last night. Paolo Espino was strafed for three runs on 11 hits and a walk over five and a 1/3rd innings to lose for the second time this season. Pedro Severino singled twice, Matt Skole walked twice, and Isaac Ballou doubled once. The rest of the lineup went 1-for-24 with one walk.

Harrisburg – OFF DAY
With its new field still under construction, the Yard Goats — love the color scheme, hate the name — visit the Senators but play as the home team for the next three games.

Potomac – OFF DAY
Potomac will finally play a third team when Myrtle Beach comes to the Pfitz this week for three, followed by… wait for it… Wilmington.

Hagerstown – OFF DAY
Likewise, the Suns will finally play in a third state (fourth opponent) when they open a three-game series in Asheville before making the nearly 500-mile bus ride back to the Muni on Friday – without the benefit of an off day or an early start.
