Syracuse — OFF DAY
Yesterday was Syracuse’s first scheduled off day of 2014, as they return to NBT Bank Stadium for a pair of four-game sets against the Toledo Mudhens and the Durham Bulls.
Harrisburg vs. New Britain — PPD
A second day of heavy rain postponed last night’s game to a Saturday-night doubleheader at Metro Bank Park on May 17th and pushed back Blake Schwartz another day as A.J. Cole is expected to start the second game of tonight’s doubleheader.
Potomac — OFF DAY
After rain shortened Potomac’s second homestand, their third road trip of 2014 takes them to the house of horrors that is BB&T Park for a four-game series against the Dash. Since it opened in 2010, the P-Nats have lost 29 of 40 regular-season games there including all ten in 2012.
Hagerstown vs. Hickory — PPD
By midafternoon even Stevie Wonder could see that the rain was going to shorten the three-game series between the Suns and Crawdads to today’s doubleheader. They’ll make up the lost game next week in Hickory with a doubleheader on Thursday, May 8.
