…A lot of shuffling here, with Watts going on the DL to make room for Shoppach that’s likely the case for Ramos as well.
…Pleffner fouled a ball off his foot on Tuesday and played for an inning afterwards, but was removed from the game.
…Meeks has yet to get into a game, so this appears to be a paper move, as were the removal and reinstatements of Foat and Lippincott, the Nationals taking advantage of the NYPL’s 30-man rosters (of which 25 are active).
…Clearly the powers that be have seen enough from the 20th Rd. pick from UCLA to move him up with the rest of the collegiate picks in Auburn.
…Last but not least, Meyers has been cleared to throw and got the start this morning in Viera, tossing two scoreless innings with one hit allowed, no walks, and one strikeout.
