Bowie scored a single run in the first to break up the string of 18 scoreless innings by the Harrisburg pitchers and a single run in the sixth to overcome Rhinehart’s fourth home run of the season as the Senators lost by a score of 2-1. Starting pitcher Brad Meyers had yet another quality start, pitching seven complete innings, allowing two earned runs on eight hits while striking out seven. Bowie’s Jose Diaz pitched the ninth, allowing only one hit, to earn his Eastern League-leading tenth save of the season.
