The Red Wings rallied from a 6-0 deficit with six in the 6th to tie, then got an RBI single from Riley Adams in the 7th to take a 7-6 lead that the bullpen held (*gasp*). Chandler Champlain got the start but was lit up for four runs on three homers and six hits total over four innings. He walked two and struck out three. Max Kranick picked up the win with a scoreless 7th while Gus Varland cordero’d around two baserunners in the 9th to earn his eighth save. Seaver King, Cayden Wallace, and Adams each had two hits in Rochester’s nine-single parade, six of which came with RISP. Roster moves: RHP Zak Kent optioned from Washington (eff. 9/9); RHP Clayton Beeter optioned from Washington; LHP Richard Lovelady recalled to Washington.

Harrisburg pummeled New Hampshire pitchers for four HRs in a 9-3 win that got the Senators back to .500 at 67-67. Jarlin Susana issued no walks for the third time in seven appearance but gave up two runs on four hits over three and 2/3rds. Luke Young stranded two and got four outs to earn his fourth win. Eli Willits had his first career four-hit game with three singles and a homer and drove in three as did Branden Boissiere with his 10th big fly at AA and 13th overall to lead the Harrisburg offense. Roster moves: RHP Chase Hampton optioned from Washington (waiver claim from Yankees).

Of course I traveled to Tucson on Saturday when Boissiere had a big night . ( if we make fun of a players name does he eventually end up on the Nats ? ( Dub Gleed 3b former marlin acquired by Jays in Leo Jimenez trade .19 HRs 61 RBIs . Not bad )
Yes the lake was murky last night for LeCroy s ace
( Lionel Train Vibes ) Hampton makes the seventh Yankee farm added by the Young Turks

It’s been an interesting summer .

Late season bullpen stacking at Rochester .
Prep for the future
Oh Susanna !!
Oh my !
Browm Martinez OF DSL actually makes ten former NYY farm hands
So far Sinclair doesn’t look out of place in the big leagues. Certainly better than all of these waiver claims.
But surely Chase Hampton and his 8.18 ERA will be different….
I get the cynicism and I have been similarly unimpressed with a lot of the pickups of soft tossers. but Hampton climbed into the top prospect rankings before missing most of ’24 and then all of ’25 after TJ. there seems to be something here to take a run at developing
We will call Jack Sinclair
Jack – Tar (oil ) Sinclair
Gus Hughes A ball reliever number eleven former NYY farmhand
Attended my last ball game of the summer last night. Three observations, the HR’s hit off Champlain were crushed. All three left no doubt. Second, so far this season I haven’t been impressed with Romero’s ability to throw runners out. But last night; top 9th, he throws a perfect strike to get the runner. It was key since the next batter doubled. Third, Riley Adams impresses me because he doesn’t have a future with the Nationals big league club and is probably AAAA player but he shows up every night and plays hard even playing 1st base this year. Last night 2 RBI’s including the winning run.
Paul keeps saying
Trust the process
Joe Sparks won so many games for the Expos PD “ process “ with AAA era who
Were only celebrated by the PD guys and fans who turned out on the bandwagon runs at reach levels
Congrats to Matt LeCroy and the entire PD staffs who put in the endless hours from West Palm beach to all the hours on the road , in the hotel rooms , in the airports and bus depots
In the endless clubhouses wherever the games were on schedule or weather effected like airport operations .
It’s easy to be an arm chair GM from a den with AC and cold beverage near the laptop …
