Rochester Red Wings, 11-10, 3rd I.L. East, 5GB – 56-38 overall
With a sweep of Jacksonville, Rochester climbed above .500 in the second half and gained a game in Int’l Lg. standings. This week, it’s another Thruway series as the Red Wings visit the Bisons for six, including a matinee tomorrow.

Harrisburg Senators, 11-8, 3rd E.L. Southwest, 4GB – 45-43 overall
The Senators took two of three from the Fisher Cats to keep pace with the SeaWolves and BaySox. The Fightins come to City Isle this week for six, including a Wet Nose Wednesday tomorrow afternoon, weather permitting.

Wilmington Blue Rocks, 14-10, 2nd Sally Lg. North, 1GB – 45-44 overall
Wilmington swept last-place Jersey Shore and gained a game in the second-half race, led by Greensboro. The Blue Rocks play the Renegades for games 13-18 of 30 this week, with a Camp Day tomorrow morning at 11am.

Fredericksburg Nationals, 11-13, 4th C.L. North, 2GB – 57-33 overall
The FredNats were swept by the Howlers to drop to 4th place and fall under .500 for the first time this season. This week it’s the sole series at home against Fayetteville with five night games and a day game on Sunday.

The D-Nats rallied for six in the 7th to turn a 3-2 deficit into an 8-3 lead that the ‘pen couldn’t blow for their eighth win of the season. Ranger Sarit pitched into the 5th for the first time in four starts, allowing two runs (one earned) on a hit and four walks. Enmanuel Carela got the win with three runs let in over three and a 1/3rd while Edinson Hernandez stranded three while getting the last out of the 8th and cordero’d around two walks and a wild pitch in the 9th to earn the save. Jonierbis Garces reached base four times on a walk, a double, and two singles while Esnaider Vargas drove in three with a single, double, and a sac fly.
