An early 1-0 lead went buh-bye in the 4th as the IronPigs put up four, then added four more over the next four innings in an 8-2 smelting of the Red Wings. Mitchell Parker was skewered for the first four runs on four hits and two walks over three and 2/3rds to lose for the second time in three starts. Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin and Andrew Pinckney both went 2-for-4 to lead Rochester’s nine-hit, no-walk offense.

Harrisburg remains unbeaten after six games as the Senators made foie gras out of the ‘Ducks, 12-1. Alex Clemmey and the 5th inning remain estranged as the 20-y.o. needed 73 pitches to get 10 outs. He only walked two, struck out four, and gave up the Akron run on a home run. Chance Huff was credited with the win as four relievers combined for five and 2/3rds scoreless innings with three walks and eight whiffs. Branden Boissiere was the beer man in a 16-hit parade, led by Max Romero Jr. with a walk, a single, two doubles, and three RBI.
Hudson Valley 2 Wilmington 0

• Hill 2IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• White 1-2
T.J. White came off the bench and got a single in the 4th. That would be it for the Blue Rocks as the Renegades retrieved their bounty, 2-0. Liam Sullivan lasted just two innings, long enough to give up a run on hit and two walks and take the loss. The Wilmington ‘pen did its job, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over the last six. The Blue Rocks batters did not as they had the one hit, three walks, and 13 strikeouts (only two by youknowwho).
Fredericksburg 8 Hill City 3

Leuris Portorreal fell two outs shy of qualifying for the win, allowing one run on four hits (one HR), no walks, and two strikeouts. Bryant Olson retired the next five batters to earn his second win in three appearances. Leuris Portorreal a story to follow in 2026
Serna truly put Wilmington to sleep last night
Wish Harry Ford was making even an mediocre case to get promoted. Despite high profile trades and reasonably high draft picks the catcher position (both offensively and defensively) continues to be a mess for this organization.
From Talk Nats twitter:
The Tigers released catcher Brady Cerkownyk, 23, and the #Nats have signed him as a minor league free agent. He has never played above the Florida Complex League.
