About

NationalsProspects.com was founded in the fall of 2009 by Jordan Tuwiner of Orioles-Nation.com (formerly OriolesProspects.com). Luke Erickson signed on as the Lead Writer in December 2009 and assumed full ownership of the site in June 2010. Luke is a former sportswriter and a lifelong baseball fan who typically attends 70+ baseball games per year. As the masthead says, the site is dedicated to providing news and notes from those viewpoints, mixed in with some amateur scouting and humor, too.

Luke can be contacted via Twitter @nats_prospects or via e-mail (click to open e-mail client) at luke.erickson[at]nationalsprospects[dot]com.

  1. For those not quite baseball lingo savvy, what does GBI stand for? You mention the GBI curse. thanks

    • The weekly feature “Good, Bad, Interesting” — GBI. Seems like whenever I feature someone as a “Good” they get rocked in their next start, or go for an 0-for-10 tailspin.
