Four Doubledays Named To New York-Penn League All-Star Game

Last night, the rosters for the 2011 New York-Penn League were announced and four Auburn Doubledays got the nod:

• Hendry Jimenez .292/.366/.479, 29RBI in 36G — starting at 2B

• Matt Skole .288/.368/.440, 32RBI in 49G — starting at DH

• Bryce Ortega .358/.454/.431, 15SB in 34G — backup SS

• Ben Grisz 1-0, 4SV, 1.35 ERA, 0.85 WHIP in 11G

The Lowell Spinners are the host of the 2011 New York-Penn League All-Star Game at LaLacheur Park in Lowell, MA a week from today.
